Eric King Yin Yu holds a Master of Music degree in Guitar Performance from the Manhattan School of Music (USA). He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Hong Kong Baptist University and an ATCL recital diploma in Guitar. Eric is currently teaching guitar and ukulele in Edinburgh. He is also a guitar performer and the associate conductor of the Edinburgh Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Eric has instructed students in classical, pop, and folk guitar. His teaching experience in both Asia and the UK has also provided him with a deep understanding of the differences in learning styles between Asian and Western cultures, enabling him to tailor his instruction more effectively. Outside of his musical career, he enjoys sports and photography, which enhance his artistic expression and endurance.
