Cloris Tsz Yan WONG is the founder of Chorus Music Therapy & Education and formerly served as the director of Tutti Music Therapy. She is a qualified music therapist registered with the HCPC. With a diverse background, she has completed various trainings in different therapeutic approaches, yet maintains a keen interest in psychodynamic therapy. Her practice is characterized by a client-centered and flexible approach, tailored to meet the holistic needs of her clients.
Before embarking on her music therapy career, Cloris was a certified music teacher in Hong Kong, with one year of experience in a mainstream primary school. Additionally, she has been providing piano lessons to individuals for over 13 years. She firmly believes that both music therapy and music education play integral roles in fostering clients' confidence, self-esteem, and self-expression. Cloris adopts a teaching style that is attuned to each student's character and learning preferences. Her teaching philosophy revolves around nurturing students' musical sensibilities, fostering their interests, and instilling a lifelong passion for music. When working with young learners, she employs engaging and age-appropriate musical activities to cultivate their love for music.
